Custom Software Case Study
GreenKey is a custom chroma keying program we created out of neccessity for our "My Very Own Adventure!" product.
We needed software that would
- Capture five to six short video clips of a subject performing
- Key out the background behind the subject
- Drop the subject into 8-20 different scenes in a cartoon
- Encode and write the final movie with new video to DVD
- Do all these tasks in under five minutes
- Be extremely intuitive and user-friendly
We found programs that would perform different aspects that we needed, but not all of them. And to boot, none of those programs were very user-friendly.
